It’s Summer and everyone is traveling in and around town. Most are using their GPS or cellphones. The other ten percent is using the old-fashioned maps. The book kind. The booklet type with real pages in 2022! Some maps even have pictures and a compass! Which ones are easier for Summer travel? Most residents like them both! Each has advantages and disadvantages. The maps should be studied carefully before you take that trip. You won’t be able to read it safely while driving. Cellphone are convenient and most preferred to get you where you need to go. The downside is that you battery could go dead on route. We’ve experienced with other neighbors and that has to be the worst ever. Or it may just cut off on you while traveling through various locations causing a lost signal. Both would be the worst case scenarios. The cool thing is the directions can be spoken out loud on your phone, so you don’t have to hold it while driving. So, most residents just charge their device fully before heading out the door. There are plenty of options. Just choose wisely and drive carefully!
