Are your kids ready for school?

It’s almost time to go back to school! Are you all set to go? If you’ve visited your local store lately, you’ll be reminded of school starting real soon. The aisles are pretty well stocked with colorful book bags, lunchboxes and school supplies right now. Neighbors often see the abundant supplies and delay buying their school supplies for their kids. It’s still Summer and it may seem like you have all the time in the world to start school shopping right. You can put it off and concentrate on that last Summer trip but it may cost you more and here’s why. Most of our local school districts have the same supply lists for a particular grade. It could be public, private or charter school. So, can you imagine the hectic long lines and crowds days before school opens. It’s a mess because now you can’t find what you need. Everything is picked over or worst case scenario, the book or lunch bag is damaged by a customer in a hurry. Now you have to order it online and it probably won’t arrive in time for the first day of school now. It’s the same thing for buying school uniforms, right. It will be harder to find your school’s colors in the sizes that you need. It will be a headache because last year’s uniform might not fit. Each day the demand for supplies will outweigh the available merchandise for you and your love ones. We recommend that you start picking up a few things now as you see them. Before you know it, some stores will run it and you’ll be left scrambling through the leftover piles. Speaking from experience, that’s the worst ever!
