Our local grocery stores

Good morning, neighbors!

It’s Monday morning and most of us are heading out to the supermarket! Some of our local favorites are Giants on Sinclair Lane, Safeway on Harford Road and my neighborhood market, Harvest Pride right here on Hamilton Avenue. Even PriceRite on Chesaco Avenue in Baltimore County is a town favorite in Baltimore City. One question that is always asked by consumers and our local neighbors is “Why do I need a mask if I am fully vaccinated?” Your local neighbors would like to know how the mask mandates affect your decision to shop in those particular markets or not? If you are a local business owner please let our neighbors know your store’s policy on masks. Everyone feel free to voice your opinions in the comment section below. As like most of us we are  shopping confused because of many separate mask policies. Some retail and supermarkets are optional. A few stores require masks for unvaccinated individuals only. The age requirement for our children ranges from two-years old and older to age five and older to wear masks? Do you think this creates confusion while shopping, neighbors? Why or why not? We all agree that proper protocols should be in place at all times for the safety of our community. In these days and times, we don’t know who’s vaccinated and who isn’t. Most neighbors have decided to wear masks everywhere while others disagree. If you are on either side of the mask mandates, let’s talk about here.
