A Birthday Celebration!

It’s a Birthday Celebration right here in our local community! Today, we honor the Sisters and give thanks, Baltimore City! Today, The Franciscan Center Of Baltimore Sister’s celebrate 53 fantastic years of service to Baltimore City and it’s Neighbors! The center is located at 101 W 23rd Street in Baltimore, Maryland 21218. For over five decades the center has been dedicated to serving our most underprivileged residents in our community. Their Outreach Program proudly services the most vulnerable and economically disadvantaged residents. Crisis services are available five days a for men, women and children. Food services include an Emergency Food Pantry and a Daily Lunch Program! They proudly promote The Healthy Food Initiative Program! The center also provides clothing and toiletries for those residents in need. For job-seekers, the center has computers for online job searches and applications. They provide assistance with job interviews as well. GED class information is also available for our residents seeking to obtain their High School Diploma! The center has also provided crisis services and financial assistance for utility and eviction prevention. Many of our local residents had obtained assistance with their transportation needs and medical prescriptions.
