Delicious Thanksgiving Desserts!

Image

It’s Friday, November 19, 2021! Today’s highs are a crisp, windy 47 degrees! It is starting to feel like sweater weather and Hazelnut Lattes. Sunny days like this are pretty seasonal for beautiful Autumn. The perfect day to get warm and cozy while reading your favorite local newsletter! We are just days away from our Thanksgiving Holiday. Most of our local residents are staying in while others will be traveling out of town this year. By now, most people have their Thanksgiving menu down pack. You have everyone’s favorite dish covered! It wouldn’t be complete without Aunt Connie’s buttery corn-on-the cob. Or Uncle Henry’s honey glazed ham. Dinner won’t start until Cousin Lola’s candied yams are ready. This year, you baked three delicious pies all by yourself! Your guests will have three scrumptious pies to choose from. Will it be the traditional sweet potato, harvest styled  pumpkin or Granny Smith’s classic apple pie? It is a tough choice after everyone’s Thanksgiving dinner. One has to be favored over the others, right.  If the apple pie was baked with honey crisp or Jonagold apples, I don’t know. Jonagold apples are quite quite popular. It is well-known for its spectacular tart and honey sweet taste. Neighbors, which pie is your all-time favorite dessert and why? Is it a must have or not that serious?
