Lifting our mask mandates!

It’s late Monday night in Baltimore City. Parents and caregivers and their loved ones have come back from their Thanksgiving travels. There weren’t too many travel problems reported from out of state traveling this holiday and that’s a good thing. Most of our kiddies in all districts have returned back to their in-person learning this week. Our local community has a new concern and we want you to know about it first. What is it and how does it affect your loved ones? Its been trending all over the news and social media lately. Unfortunately, this is not the first time that this has come up. It’s about our mask mandates and when should our residents stop wearing them? Many residents are concerned about the effectiveness of continuing to wear their masks in public settings and schools. It is a trending topics that has divided our community. Some local neighbors are satisfied with our high turnout rate for vaccination. Now, the vaccines are also readily available for our children. Some local  parents and caregivers with a household of fully vaccinated family members are feeling safe and would like to see some changes in our community. What are they asking for and why? Now, most families feel that it should be a choice to wear the masks or not? Even in our our local school district. That has been the number one topic in local PTA meetings in our schools. It’s was even a tough debate to enforce the mask mandates in the beginning of the school year. As far as we know, the masks are still required in schools, public places and in hospitals. Most jobs have a strict protocol of  employees wearing their masks at all times. How does your local school district measure up as far as protocol for masks in schools and while on school property? It’s surely a hot topic in the privacy of most homes. Most local residents are already expected to have to wear their masks far into the new year! Are you ready to ease up a little on wearing masks based on personal preferences or will you wait until qualified health officials to decide for you? Please let your community know what you think in our comment section below!
