It’s a beautiful, Tuesday morning here in our city! We can expect today’s highs to be in the mid to late forties. Our lows will remain quite seasonal and in the mid-thirties tonight. There’s only a 3% precipitation expected and that’s great. Here at Baltimore’s Best Stories, we are rolling out the red carpet today to honor our favorite holiday cookies. It was creatively inspired by our beautiful new holiday logo. How could we resist not writing about those cute little deliciousness gingerbread people. These adorable cookies are a timeless classic among our neighbors! Our local stores will continue to put smiles on our faces by fully stocking these little babies. The holiday shelves will never be the same without the world famous Royal Dansk Cookies. You know the ones in the pretty royal blue tin cans. Nothing screams the Christmas Holiday is here like those delicious Danish butter cookies. We personally love grandma’s old-fashioned oatmeal raisin cookies. The ones that are baked from scratch and filled with love. By now, we all know that the insanely popular Snicker-doodles cookies comes in fragrances too. Most of our local residents must have their delicious semi-sweet chocolate pinwheels at this time of year. It’s a fantastic and delightful blend of succulent chocolate and vanilla flavorings. The glazed candied fruit cookies are also a hit among our family and friends at Christmas time. These cookies are so cute and festive to serve after your holiday dinner. As a city girl at heart, I will always love my fortune cookies from our local carry outs in any season. They are a light golden, crunchy delight! Neighbors, what are your favorite must have cookies this season? Please let us know in our comment section below. Is there a classic Baltimore cookie that represents our city? We have to know what that is, please and thank-you in advance!
