Happy Catholic School Week!

Baltimore City, MD- BBS is also a proud parent who will be celebrating today in our school colors of navy blue and green! Today, is Monday, January 30th and it’s an exciting week for many students, families and faculty in our local school districts. Many residents are super excited and looking forward to this week’s school activities and will honor this week with other families across the nation. Why are schools and families celebrating? This is an annual event that takes places for an exciting week! The theme for this year’s National Catholic School Week 2022 is Faith, Excellence and Service! The first Catholic School Week Celebration began in 1974! It’s a traditional, phenomenal and annual celebration of a Catholic education that recognizes the importance, the core values and the contributions of Catholic education to our Church and to the world! This year festivities start today and will continue to take place through Friday. Each day of the week, our local schools will have a theme for each day of the week. Catholic schools proudly demonstrates good faith, excellence and service to our local communities. It is one of the most highly anticipated events for the year for local students, families, parishioners and fellow community members. The week long festivities include Masses, open houses for prospective families and a host of fun filled activities for the students and their families. This morning, our Catholic School was greeted by Park & Perk Cafe!
