March is National Women’s History Month!

National Women’s History Month- It’s a celebration of women’s achievement, leadership and strength. In March, it’s all about supporting courageous and vital women in and around our community. Baltimore City residents are paying tribute to the women who shaped American history! The theme for WHM is “Providing Healing and Promoting Hope.” As we unite together to reflect on our past, we must also commentate on the present and our future. Our community salutes courageous women both nationally and locally! Today, let’s nominate a local hero. It could be a loved one, colleague or public servant.  Who is she exactly? A wonderful woman in our community that is making a difference in the lives of others! A caregiver who puts everyone else’s needs first. One who gives their all without expecting anything in return. Your grandmother, mother, sister, aunt or cousin! A local school teacher that goes over and beyond for her students everyday! A dedicated healthcare provider who’s committed to the safety and well-being of her patients. Our first responders, including police women, EMT, nursing and her assistant!
