Spring 2022!

Baltimore City Gardeners- It’s almost Spring so you know what that means! Flowers, flowers and more flowers. It’s time to create your beautiful gardens. Today is a perfect day to get started for many of our community members. It’s beautiful, sunny and warm out. Many residents admire these creative, vivid displays from blocks away. You have to admit that it is pretty spectacular to see. We all have that one fabulous neighbor with the most magnificent garden. Those front and backyards with the cool garden decors and flags! This year, you can expect to see even more vibrant garden lights surrounding most gardens. Most local have asked how do they light up? It’s true when you peep into a garden, right. It’s actually pretty simple. They’re called solar lights. These super cute lights charge by sunlight and light up in the dark. Their also extremely affordable. You can buy them at our local Dollar Tree store. They come in a variety of shapes, colors and cute Spring designs. You’ll love the new 2022 assortments. For many local neighbors their gardens may look a little bit differently. You’ve probably seen these brightly colored flower pots dangling from their porches. Some even place these beautiful pots of flowers on both sides of their steps. BBS loves this idea because it is super low maintenance. It’s a great option for our neighbors with busy schedules. For most of us tending to daily is a challenge. Most of us just don’t have the time to commit. Either way, both options require the ability to provide tender loving care. The basics such as water!
