It’s Tolkien Reading Day!

Baltimore City- It’s Tolkien Reading Day in our community and around the world! Everyone will be watching their favorite Tolkien film this weekend. Many fans will also be rereading their favorite titles as well. Today fans celebrate the works of English poet, writer and Philologist J.R.R. Tolkien and you can too. The amazing Tolkien Society dates back to 2003! The late, great writer is the mastermind behind his acclaimed series, The Lord of The Rings. John Ronald Reuel Tolkien is also known for The Hobbit. No wonder Tolkien’s books will be the topic in today’s local reading and book clubs! Local residents are super excited and will be celebrating all weekend! The Tolkien theme this year is Love and Friendship. It sort of reminds us of our fascinating, local community members, including you! If it’s trending, Residents remember when the ring was destroyed completing Frodo Baggins’ quest. BBS will be on it!
