Books and Conversation- The intriguing Biography Genre. This week’s genre specifically peeked the interesting of several local readers including BBS! We decided to explore this fascinating genre while adding a little local flare to it. Nothing is more exciting than reading a story from a writer residing in our hometown of Baltimore! Readers, feel free to add to our reading list this weekend. There were so many fabulous biographies to choose from. Surprisingly, we were able to find these sparkling gems on the shelf. Our local community can always use more unique titles to add to their library or book collection. Please list your favorites in our comment section below. Our reading community would love to read your comments, reviews and recommendations. One book that we found interesting was The Other Wes Moore. One Name, Two Fates by author Wes Moore. A local Baltimore native who published this biography in 2010. Another super, local trender is Genealogy and Biography of Leading Families of the City of Baltimore and Baltimore County. It was published by Fb&C Limited in the year 2017! It will really make an awesome addition to your personal library. This next recommendation definitely caught our eye. Here for It. Or How to Save Your Soul in America; Essays by R.Eric Thomas, year 2021. Lastly, this next one is also worth exploring and reading. We are literally over the moon by this unheard of genre. The genre is Domestic Fiction and BBS was amazed. Redhead by the Side of the Road by Anne Tyler in 2020. The title says it all for us.
