Locals are super excited about our amazing, live performers this year. Hitting our iconic infield on Preakness Live will be Grammy Award winning Stars Lauryn Hill and Megan Thee Stallion along with NAACP Award Winner D-Nice and one of our own local stars, Brittney Spencer. Residents are super pumped to see our own Morgan State University Marching Band representing our city so nicely. Local talent will also be in attendance on our Charm City Stage. The Peale Museum is set to reopen to the public in August after 20 years! This historic Baltimore Community Museum was founded in 1814 by American Artist and Inventor, Rembrandt Peale! What is this museum and why should you go? This museum represents the voices of the people in our city. The Peale Museum is known for telling rich, narratives of our community. Our vivid narratives can be seen and heard through rich paintings of culture and diversity! The unheard voices of our neighborhood through historical accounts. Including digital collections of Baltimore’s stories. It’s one of America’s oldest museums and so close to home. A people’s museum consisting of many local creators.
