This has to be one of our favorite eras of all time. BBS is not afraid to take the egg and cook up these splendid book recommendations. The intriguing Victorian era of British history was during the period of Queen Victoria’s reign from 1837-1901. Many residents are smitten by the idea of such lavish and magnificent castles! There were also many historical events that took place during that fascinating era. The London-Birmingham Railroad opened the n 1838, starting the steam-powered railroads. That revolutionized travel. In 1843, A Christmas Carol was written and published by Charles Dickens. In 1851, the Great Exhibition opened in London’s Crystal Palace. The telephone was invented by Alexander Graham Bell. The magical mysteries, myth and intrigue attracts you almost immediately. Our recommendations make the cut and we’re sure that you’ll love these titles as well. The Wages of Sin by Katie Welsh.
