It’s Cook-out Season!

It’s that wonderful time of year when everyone is receiving some sort of Summer invite. By calendar though, Summer Solace starts on June 21st. With all this nice weather going on, your friends and neighbors are getting the party started now. We’re talking about cook-outs, block parties and picnic’s just to name a few. Once one invitation comes, they all start coming. Some invites might pop up on a non pay week for you though. What can you do because it’s too hard trying to resist a Luau, fiesta or bonfire right.  Most residents understandably don’t want to just show up empty handed. Especially, if you’re like us and want to take home a plate or two. You’re in luck because you do have options because BBS wants to see you go out and enjoy yourself! Have fun at the social gathering and also play it safe. Most locals know the routine and have it all figured out. What they’re bringing can be found in their local area. We’re talking about your neighborhood discount or dollar stores. Somewhere where a buck and some change goes a long ways! Here are some items to bring to look super thoughtful and fabulous at your next outing. Bags of ice are always needed along with plastic utensils or paper cups. Reynolds’s wrap is good with napkins or paper towels. A few boxes of Glad trash bags and you’ll be the star of Uncle Bernie’s shindig. Or if that’s not your style, please offer to help the hostess out during the event. There are so many creative things to bring on a budget. It’s just temporary! What are the odds of events happening on your off pay week right? Remember to invite BBS! We’d love to come out and mingle with our community!
