Baltimore City- What’s trending in and all around town? This evening is all about tarot cards, palm readings and horoscopes. They are quite the entertainment and lots of fun for many. Most of us remember the fortune telling booths at our local carnivals. There would be a colorful deck of cards or a black, magic ball. It was the curiosity that drew you in. Even area carry outs added the crunchy, fortune cookies to your meal. Remember, the little notes inside, everyone. So, what’s the fascination with the unknown? First you need an open mind to it. Many like to take a chance and others are just curious about what they do. Palm readings are the art of analyzing a person’s characteristics and personality by the lines on the palms of your hand. These readers or Gypsy’s believe that one’s hand shape consists of four major lines. A heart, head, life and stability line. These lines are supposed to tell you something that you never knew. A prediction of some sort. Fortune Telling cards are a little different. A person sits across from you at a table. They will normally spread out a deck of cards for the customer to choose from and read your fate. However, most believe that the information is not accurate and have found out that the events are not true at all. That concept depends on if you believe in fate and destiny. BBS is not fans of it but we have had these techniques done for fun, and entertainment purposes only. Many residents prefer to read their daily horoscopes on their favorite devices such as phones, tablets or laptops. Horoscope apps are very popular too. These are often personalized just for you. Do you remember when it was featured in our local newspapers? There you have it. What’s your take on it? If you tried it any of these techniques, please share your experiences in our comment section below!
