What’s cooking on this fabulous, Tuesday afternoon? Why are your neighbors ordering their favorite carry out today? Our guess is delicious, deep fried onion rings. It’s a thing because it’s a celebration of crispy, buttery rings. If you love onions, please read on! Regular French fries are out for the day. Onion lovers all around town are ecstatic about National Onion Ring Day. Today is the day to go out and treat yourself to some delicious rings. Some residents prefer the homemade recipes and are cooking them the old-fashioned way. Others prefer their favorite restaurant style goodies. You can also pickup a snack bag at your local supermarket or retail store.  Everybody cooks them differently. From deep or pan fried to oven baked. Either way it will be bursting with flavor. Add a sizzling sauce such as honey mustard, ranch or ketchup to top it off. Really any dipping sauce will do the trick. Served along side a platter of Buffalo wings and celery and you have it made!
