There are tons of exciting things to do and places to see in and around town. Make our community events page your first stop to find the best, local entertainment that our city has to offer! It’s a friendly neighborhood thing so everyone can post their events on it for all to see. Many locals have already started to head to our local beaches. A few, trending hot spots are Ocean City, Miami Beach and Gunpowder to name a few. Nothing says Summer like sand, water and plenty of sunshine right. Our local community centers are also the talk of our town. Check these fabulous recreation centers in and around town. Many offer indoor and outdoor pools. They’re normally free, reasonably priced or affordable for your household. Don’t forget to visit our hometown favorite, Six Flags America right here in Bowie, Maryland. About forty-five minutes on the outskirts of our city. Residents are super excited for thrill rides such as high speed roller coasters and exciting wet and wild water slides. It’s making a splash this season once again. Many amusement park fans can’t wait to ride the Superman, Batwing or the Joker’s Jinx to name a few. We’d rather take a swim around Penguin’s Blizzard, Vortex Riptide or Wahoo River. I guess you can tell that we’re too chicken for the high rides. You can find us on the Bahamas Blast instead.
