Public transportation is going up!

Local bus fares are going up in costs. Residents are reacting and here’s why. A ten-cent increase is causing concern for some of our neighbors. Others are okay with and feel that the fare is still reasonable and affordable. Single fares will increase from $1.90 to $2. Senior passengers will pay $1 and student prices will be $1.50. Day passes are $4.60 and Seniors will pay $2.30. The weekly bus pass rate is $22.00. Monthly passes are $77.00 and for our seniors their monthly passes will be $23.00. Ask about their holiday schedule if you plan to travel in and around town.
