Popsicle or Snowball?

Baltimore City

If it’s debatable, we want to talk about it at our dessert table today. All opinions are welcomed and are highly encouraged. BBS and the community really cares about what our readers think on every topic or newsletter. Today’s trending topic is whether or not our neighbors prefer popsicles  or snowball and why. We’ve asked a few neighbors and this is what they had to say about it. Either was fine but one was noticeably cheaper in preparation costs. If you guessed popsicles, you are absolutely correct. Many make them with juice that they have in their refrigerators. Many use regular ice trays, cups or  popsicle dishes. Residents like to add their own fresh or frozen fruit to it. Some like to mix fruity, kool-aid packs together in a pitcher. Their little ones love the bright colors and fruit flavors and they love making it themselves. Popular assortments include pink lemonade, strawberry and banana to name a few. Other caregivers just like the store-bought ones for around a dollar. They can conveniently be found in almost any local store. It comes in a good size quantity for every member of your household to enjoy. You don’t have to worry about cleaning tables or messy hands. Snowballs has always been a hometown favorite and is still trending today. The spectacular, fruity syrup drizzled over ice on a Summer day is still this season. Who can resist a local snowball stand, right? It’s like the ultimate sign of Summer sunshine and it can be profitable. We’ve seen these fantastic stands on corners, in front or backyard and even at traffic lights throughout our city. There’s on Hamilton Avenue that has particularly grabbed our attention. We are so looking forward to visiting this sweet, community hot spot! If you have a favorite that everyone should know about, please tell your neighbors about it in our comment section below. Also, we’d love to know your take on local, ice-cream trucks, too.  Is it a hit or miss for Summer 2022?
